York County SPCA Hosts Pay What You Can Pawlooza

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – The York County SPCA will host the Pay What You Can Pawlooza from August 22 through August 28. This donation-based adoption campaign allows adopters to bring home a pet for a prize they name.

The York County SPCA has worked to remove barriers to adoption and make adoption more accessible to all members of the community. The Pay What You Can Pawlooza aims to help more animals find homes, while making adoption more accessible to the community.

The York County SPCA is working to take the financial burden off as much as possible by helping to pay for services that would cost more than $400 at the vet. Their standard adoption fee includes these services for $260, depending on factors such as the type of animal you adopt.
