Suzy from Battle Creek is a funny girl who needs a home
Suzy is a real dynamo the size of a pint!
Sweet Suzy is about a year old and is a Chihuahua mix. What it is mixed with is unknown. Humane Society of South Central Michigan (HSSCM) staff say it’s one of their favorites.
Suzy is part actress, maybe part of her mix. But seriously, she loves to run and play. She also likes to run away from the HSSCM staff when she goes out and they chase her. Her tail will wag and she thinks that’s a lot of fun. Fortunately, there is a double fenced area where the dogs at the shelter go to play, so there is no chance for her to get in serious trouble. HSSCM staff members say that by leveling up and taking your time, Suzy will be back.
Suzy warms up quickly. Soft voices and respectful animals are a good way to gain her trust. When she knows you, she is a very sweet and loving girl. She is also described as a firecracker. Probably all that fun loving energy.
Suzy gets along well with other dogs. It really depends on how the other dog reacts to him. She may very well go to a house with another dog, while waiting for a meeting.
Because she is a pint-sized princess, a house with children over the age of 10 is recommended. Children who run and wrestle often are the type of scenario where a little girl like her might end up with a broken bone. A physically fenced yard is also recommended due to his love for playing away from home outdoors.
