Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will host an adoption event

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) is partnering with Wyatt Johnson Subaru as part of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, donating $100 to the shelter for each adopted dog through October with a limit of $3,100 .

MCACC will be open for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 616 N. Spring Street. “We are thrilled to once again partner with the amazing team at Wyatt Johnson Subaru to help us find loving new homes for our population of homeless pets. The Wyatt Johnson team contacts us every year and is as passionate as we are about helping animals find new homes. Thank you again to the Wyatt Johnson Subaru family, Subaru and the ASPCA for helping with adoption costs at Montgomery County Animal Care and Control,” said Dave Kaske, Director of Animal Care and Control.

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), nearly 3.3 million pets enter shelters nationwide each year. A fundamental tenet of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative is an ongoing commitment to helping all pets find their perfect, loving homes. Subaru and its retailers have donated more than $45 million to local and national organizations to support the adoption, rescue, transportation and health care of more than 350,000 animals.
