Kitten and Puppy Division adoption center seeks donations after rescuing 11 dogs in Pulaski County

ST ROBERT, Mo. (KY3) – Authorities have rescued 11 emaciated dogs from a Pulaski County home. They took them to the kitten and puppy division adoption center.

Dogs need a lot of care due to their condition. The dogs were found in a home in Pulaski County. The owner went to the adoption center of the kittens and puppies division. To check the severity of their weight loss, most dogs scored one to three out of 10.

“If your ranking is very low, there is no muscle mass. There is no fat on the body. The ribs show the bones sticking out like that,” said Lt. April Bryan of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

The director of the shelter says all the dogs are between five months and four years old and need medical attention.

“They’ve already started taking medication to help with some of the things that are going on with them right now,” Diane Lanning said.

When the dogs are in good enough condition, they will be neutered and neutered.

So far, the owner has not been formally charged.
