Kings County Animal Services Offering ‘Late Summer’ Adoption Special | Local News

Kings County Animal Services offers a special “End of Summer” offer that allows residents to adopt large dog breeds for $25, among a number of other service options.

The department, which is part of the sheriff’s office, focuses on the health and safety of Kings County animals, said Ashley Sodini, animal services outreach coordinator.

“We do adoptions through the shelter. People are welcome to come in during our opening hours to walk around our kennels and see the animals we have,” Sodini said. “We run specials throughout the year – at the moment we are running an ‘End of Summer’ special which will run until September where the fee for our large breed dogs will only be $25.”
