**Special Request – Senior Alert** What 10 year old Hollie needs is a home that will take care of her special needs and love her unconditionally. This beautiful and affectionate girl was taken in as a wanderer. She had suffered from long-term bilateral ear infections that left her with heavy scarring on her outer ears, severe thickening of her ear canals, hearing loss and incredible pain. The difficult decision was made to remove both of her ears to let her experience a pain-free existence. Hollie went through the first operation like a champ, never stopping her undying affection for everyone. She will undergo her second surgery shortly and then be ready for her return home. She is sociable with other cats and everyone. Following the operation, Hollie may temporarily or permanently lose her ability to blink in one or both eyes (only time will tell), so a potential foster will need to be able to lubricate her eyes. several times a day for her.
If you would like to help Hollie begin her next chapter, please call 631-360-7575 for more information.
Available for adoption through Tender Loving Cats
Meet Pops! Born in December 2017, this playful character has a rather powerful purr machine built into this “bob cat”-like structure. He is extremely vocal and does everything in his power to always be by your side. Pops love to throw themselves in front of your feet so you can’t leave. He loves a few good string toys for hunting and spending lazy time sleeping on the cat scratching posts. To adopt Pops, complete an adoption application here: https://www.tenderlovingcats.org/adoption-application.html.

Stefania was found in the parking lot of Hofstra University while pregnant. She’s a fan favorite to the rescue! Stefania is the biggest ball of mush and just wants to be loved. She is estimated to be 3-4 years old, loves people and is an amazing hugger. If you are looking for a companion cat that will give you lots of love, Stefania is your girl!
**Double Adoption** Logan and Luna are the cutest, most bonded duo you could ask for. They are about 4-5 months old and were brought to Lend-a-Paw by a volunteer who found them on the streets of Freeport. They were so scared but slowly opened up. After receiving proper medical attention, they still had partial vision loss, but that didn’t stop them from being as playful as other kittens. They love playing with their toys just as much as a good cuddle. If you’re looking for a pair of kittens who are best friends, Logan and Luna are for you!
Scar is a 1-2 year old tabby who was found with his other kitten siblings in the Bronx last year. He is the last left and no one knows why! He has such an amazing personality. Scar is the first to welcome potential adopters into the cat room. He loves to play with toys, but loves getting all the pets from people more than anything! Scar would make an amazing addition to any family. If you are looking for a cozy cat to be the most incredible companion, Scar is your man!
Scooby was returned in January 2021 and has been in and out of foster homes ever since. He was fortunate to have finally found an amazing, patient and understanding host family in Syracuse who have worked and trained with Scooby for the past few months. He is about 3 years old, gets along well with other dogs, he is a big cuddly insect who likes to be by your side. Scooby would do best in a house with older children as he still likes to run and jump. He will need a home that can keep up with his active lifestyle.
Emma has just been rescued from the euthanasia list after being brought to the New York shelter as a wanderer. She is smart, social and eager to please her favorite person. Emma loves to play with any toy she can get her paws on, whether it’s playing fetch with her human or entertaining herself with a chew toy. She is about 2 years old, 39 pounds and microchipped. Emma would thrive with someone patient who is willing to work on her manners, as she has tons of energy and can jump when excited.
