A large camp-themed beer garden is slated to open on the north side of San Antonio in the coming weeks

SAN ANTONIO – A large outdoor cafe called Camp 1604 is slated to open in the coming weeks on the north side of San Antonio.

The 8,000 square foot outdoor space will have large oak trees to provide shade and “really add to that camp feel,” said Bri Domowitz, spokesperson for the development. Dogs will be allowed on the terrace.

The building itself will be 4,000 square feet in area and the seating will include picnic tables, Adirondacks, and camping chairs to complete the theme.

“We’ve just locked down a popular local San Antonio food truck that we’re going to partner with,” Domowitz said. “We will have a full bar focused on fun local craft beer.”

“The garden will feature experiential elements including adult swings, outdoor ping-pong and foosball tables, ‘swing’ chairs at the garden bar, and interesting art installations throughout,” according to the website. from Camp 1604.
